Just completed the assembly

I just got it home and completed the assembly. The assembly went better than expected and didn't take more than 15 minutes. Thanks to the oil funnel with the curved end to get the oil in. I will just have to make sure I hold on to the funnel or the oil fill may get difficult. The instructions were easy to follow with pictures. It was too late in the night for me to start it up but will start first thing tomorrow. Once I run it a bit I will may go back and adjust the rating if needed.

Just opened the box

I just picked it up today but to late to start it up. It was very easy to assemble and the directions were clear. Just wish it wasn’t so late as I was really wanting to start it up and hear it run. I gave it a 4 star since it was so easy to assemble with easy instructions. Once I get a chance to run it i may adjust the rating if needed

I am pleased with the quality of this product based on my first month of setup and testing. It is easy to operate, solidly built, and is meeting all of my expectations. It would be great if it included the ability to run using propane as well as gasoline.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Big power, small package

Really nice design. Lighter than most other units for the power you get. Wheel kit works great. Setup was easy. Oil fill is in a tough spot but they provide you with a right angle funnel and the oil! Runs fairly quiet. Overall, very nice unit.

Unit was well packaged & easy to assemble

I am a happy customer, however, I noted these issues with the instructions::
Instructions for choke operation were confusing. It seems they are in reverse. ("choke off" is really "choke on"). I have not yet been able to identify and/or locate the Oil Filter (Illustratiions indicating it's location are useless.) Also, nowhere in the instructions does it indicate to make sure all circuit breakers are in the "ON" position before connecting any loads. A call to the Help Line was necessary.
Once past these simple issues, starting and operating the generator is easy.

Arrived as advertised

I bought this ecoGen10000 3 weeks ago for backup power as I am in a rural area that loses power occasionally due to ice or wind storms. It arrived via truck banded to a pallet on 2nd business day from date I ordered. This surprised me as I live in a rural area. Box was in good shape, and all items were accounted for. The next weekend I assembled the generator, added the oil, and put about a 1/2 gallon of fresh gas in it. The generator started up fine with the electric battery start button and key fob. I tested the generator to power a couple of corded power tools and let it run for about 30 minutes before turning off. My only complaint so far is that I was not able to start the generator using the pull cord which I want to be able to do as I could see needing it and finding the battery is not charged or dead sometime in the future. I will try again later, but it seemed difficult to generate the speed to get it to fire.
