Nice generator

Just purchased this ran it for 5 hours to break it in. My initial impression is that assemb and setup is pretty easy. Bolt on the wheels and feet, connect the battery, add the supplied oil, add gas and it cranked up immediately. Pairing the key fob is straight forward and is a cool addition. The open frame makes it a bit louder than than closed frame units, but not a problem for my use case and flipping the eco switch allows the generator to rev up and down depending on load, which makes it quieter when not heavily loaded.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A couple things are poorly assembled, remote is not syncing with the machine, but it did start up after 1 cycle. Looking forward to getting good use out of it.

Compact and Powerful

I purchased this generator to be prepared for power outages, as it seems to happen a lot in our area I live. I like the ecoGen 10000 because of its size and weight. Very easy to move around and store when not in use. Best part is it is an inverter generator, so it produces "clean" electricity safe for sensitive electronics. I hooked it up to test it and it powered all the lights, refrigerator, TV/Internet without even working the motor hard. I have a 1/2hp submersible well pump for our water and it power that with ease and the generator never "bogged" down when the pump engaged. It also runs a lot quieter than I expected. Switch into Eco Mode and it's even more quite. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. Price is reasonable and so far, the reliability has been good. I did have a little trouble getting it started out of the box for some reason but once it did it ran great. If you are hooking this up to run your whole house using an Interlock device on your panel, be sure to float the natural on the generator. Unfortunately, the instructions in the manual do not give a clear process how to do this. I had to search the Internet and found someone that posted the instructions. Not sure why Westinghouse doesn't include these steps. Probably liability reasons. I would recommend this generator to anyone looking for a good generator to supply basic backup power to your house during an outage.

Well made and easy to set up. The 5 hour break in went well. Changed the oil and drained the fuel as instructed, Tech Service was very helpful and easy to contact.

So far so good. Easy to assemble and ran well from the start. I originally got a comparable Champion product but had to send it back because it did not run well. So very happy with the Westinghouse.

Easy to assemble. So far only done its break-in time with no issues. Impressed it is well made. Out of the box everything seems to be functioning as it should. The key fob programmed as it should. Very handy to have. So far would recommend it.
