We had an electrician set up so can hook up to the house. It’s provided lights when the power is out and the fridge. Great purchase for hurricane preparedness.

Keeps steady 60Hz

My previous non-inverter generator rated for 10,000 surge watts by a different manufacturer varied wildly on the frequency output depending on load - dipping below 50Hz at 5,000 watts, and rising above 70Hz at <200 watts. This was a big problem as I have some battery backup units that won't accept a charge if the frequency is below 50Hz or above 70Hz. I've only tested this ecoGen10000 for about an hour but I've varied the load incrementally up and down between 20 watts to 3000 watts and the frequency/voltage stayed locked on 60Hz/120 volts the whole time. It's also noticeably quieter than my non-inverter generator. Very happy with the performance. My only complaint is the position of the oil fill inlet which makes filling the unit with oil awkward even with the included funnel.

Nice Generator -Easy to use

I bought this generator a month ago. It is very easy to hook up and very easy to use. I like the remote control feature, which makes starting very easy. Even someone like me, that has no experience using a generator has found it very easy to use.

Just what I hoped for.

I wanted a quiet and powerful job site generator that could also be a backup for power outages. Added bonus was remote start and quieter than I expected for the size. I like that if needed I can run this in tandem with other like generators.

I bought this last week. It arrived fine. I put it together with some difficulty, I'm 82 yrs old, but got it done. Checking oil and adding oil is difficult but can be done. Starting was easy, ran great, hope I never have to use it, I live in hurricane country, but glad at present to have it.
