Perfect Construction Generator

This generator is perfect for running our 8'x20' construction office! No issues running all of our electronics and air conditioner!

My old generator finally broke down and I needed to replace it with a bigger generator for this hurricane season here in Houston. I did a lot of research and bought this one because of the good reviews.I am looking forward to hooking it up to my breaker box with a transfer switch to my main power box. It was easy to assemble and get ready for use and the 5 hour break in worked really well. I was able to start it with one pull and then also with the push start and the remote start. I

The inverter generator is powerful and runs smoothly. It served my house well during the first power outage. During the second outage (last week), it ran great for about 20 hours before it suddenly stopped at night. I am in contact with the warranty service. If the problem is resolved well (which I expect), I will be a happy customer. I plan to update the review after that.

Solid build quality

I bought this to use with a transfer switch that DTE installed on my electric meter. The initial setup was easy and well explained in the manual. Westinghouse also provided detailed instructions set the generator ground as needed for the hookup to the transfer switch. The generator also started immediately first try.

Hurricane ready

I live south of New Orleans and we experience Hurricanes and rolling blackouts consistently. I am a family man with 3 kids. I’m also in the Air Force National Guard and when a hurricane comes my family is forced to evacuate 2-3 hours away even for a category 1 storm because that’s the closest family in order for me to serve my state in emergency operations that last sometimes weeks to months. But now for weaker storms I can rest easy knowing my family will be comfortable for the time that the power is out and not have to relocate. One of the best purchases I’ve made to date.
