Shuts off randomly

It seems that after 5 hours of use out of the box, it does not stay running. It shuts off randomly, even when nothing is plugged into it. Oil is fine, gas is fine, and the battery is charged. Did all the troubleshooting as recommended. No codes or lights come on just dies. Worked great until then. Will be contacting Westinghouse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just received the inverter today. My friend has a Westinghouse generator and recommended this brand. Should be ready for hurricane season. Happy with the purchase so far.

Just received this EcoGen10000 and I am excited to use it. I love the features and the clear instructions. I will need two so I will start this one and hopefully want to purchase the 2nd one. Sorry, I can't comment on performance yet ,but deleivered in great condition.

Not had cause to use it yet but very well constructed inverter generator, which I intend to use for home backup power to replace a 15 year old traditional Honda generator, which is showing its age! Very pleased to have something that should be better for the many electronic items in the house.

Compact and well designed

I bought this model with Inverter to handle my house electrical loads and sensitive electronics used in just about everything. I have yet to run it under a power outage, but it has handled my electrical loads while testing after installation and during break-in.
Note: The Electrician I consulted with on this (and talked me into the Inverter) was impressed with it and said he was going to look into getting one.
