First Westinghouse Generator

This is the first new generator in over 20 years. The fact that this is an inverter generator is a comfort. After the minor assembly and reading start-up directions, it started without any problems.

Good Experience, easy to assemble and startup

Bought the ecoGen10000 in May to get ready for hurricane season in Texas. Delivered on schedule, easy to assemble and started right up. Had an electrician install a 50 amp receptacle to main breaker panel and I am good to go.

I looked and researched before purchasing. This was the best price for an inverter generator with this power I could find. A lot of other brands don't even come close to 10,000 watts. And Westinghouse has been around since the early 1900's.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Arrived with damaged ground wire from frame to motor and welded front leg nut would not align with leg bolt hold

Well Designed and Easy to Operate

This is a well designed inverter generator and I especially like the remote electric start with the key fob. The Control Panel is layout is excellent and includes a Data Center that displays voltage, frequency, lifetime hours, run hours, and maintenance codes. It comes with a Bonded Neutral but it is easy to convert to a Floating Neutral generator. This is one of the best designed generators I have seen. It's easy to start and easy to operate.

Performed as Promised

I just bought this a month ago. Preparing and starting it up was intuitive. I want to be able to run everything in my RV. After the break-in time, I did as instructed and turned on my heaviest users first. When I turned on my AC unit, the generator didn't even slightly bog down. It has turned out to be what I wanted.

I ordered this generator after Beryl to replace a smaller one I had. It was easy to set up and started up with ease. I love the key fob and start button, so I don't have to pull on the cord to start it. I do agree with others the oil dip stick is in a dumb location and hard to access.
