Nice Inverter Generator!

Bought this to power up household items when we have power outages. So far have not used it other than to run it a few times to make sure everything works as it should. I could not figure out how to pair the remote start, but found out it was already paired. I like the layout of the plugs and it is fairly easy to handle. The only thing that is a bit of a challenge is the fill oil access, but not too big of a deal you just take your time and use the provided funnel. I have owned a smaller Westinghouse inverter and it has performed very well. I hope to get many years of good service with this unit.

EASY TO ASSEMBLE, EASY TO MOVE AROUND AND THE QUALITY IS EXCELLENT. COMES WITH A REMOTE START THAT WORKS PERFECT. IM HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.

Setup & break-in went easy, push-to-start worked out-of-the-box, and flawlessly powered test loads during break-in.
Cons:
Only real problem I have with it so far is the funnel is not a good size/shape for this model. Using it to fill the oil is very difficult. Before I change the oil I'll buy a funnel with a hose.

Great features for the price

I like this generator. I wish now that I had purchased the 13K inverter generator. I noticed that if the unit is overloaded the overload protection will disconnect the unit from the load. I had a standard generator before and although it was under strain when it was overloaded it still provided power to the loads. This was probably not good for some of the appliances that we were running because of the voltage drop.

Easy Startup!

Had a chance to do my first test run for my first generator, and was pleased to find it started on the first try. It's been running fine and I expect we'll get good use out of it when we need it. The engineering looks sound; only thing I would want to change so far is that the oil fill is a little challenging to get to, but they kindly provide a funnel for access.
I did need to call in to ask why I wasn't getting power (silly me), but Chancellor dialed me in quickly to advise that the unit actually ships with all the circuit breakers off... and they don't mention to flip those in the start up procedures. Oops.
In any event, it seems like it will be a great one.

Great features, lasts long!

I bought this generator during hurricane season and it has been able to power my entire house, minus the air conditioner of course. Exactly what I need it for - first time using a generator can be hard to follow all the steps but after you figure it out it’s easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
