Clean power

I put a Fluke power analyzer on my transfer switch and the sine wave had little to no ripple. The THD was 1% with no load. Power looks almost as good as the street power

Great value for an inverter with 50 amp plug. Easy to assemble and takes up much less space than my older generator. Glad I made the purchase!

Works out of box

Unboxed, assembled, oiled and fueled and it started up easily with the push button below 10F. I assumed the battery would be pretty low and was pleasantly surprised I didn't need to pull start it in the cold. Tested running a 3hp table saw with it and there were no issues. Only problem is that the fuel shutoff valve leaks in the open position, but that looks pretty easy to replace (in fact the manual lists it as a service item because there's a filter inside of it)

Runs out in floor heat, hot water, well pump, refrigerator, internet and Tv.
Stabile power good gas consumption.

I looked at lots of generators before getting the Ecogen. It had lots of great features like a 50 amp outlet and very low THD. Unbeatable value for all the features you get !
