Works as advertised

I have owned a Westinghouse 12KW generator for several years, using it for my mobile welding activities. While it has proven to be a good generator, its output has a little too much THD for sensitive electronics so I purchased the ecoGen10000 to run my electronics. So far it has met all my needs. It starts easily and runs surprising quiet. In Eco-Mode you can have a conversation in normal tones. Assembly was simple and the only issue was when I first started the generator there was no output at the plugs. Turns out the GFI had tripped and had to be reset. That hasn’t happened again and the gen has operated flawlessly.

So far a wonderful generator

Although going through the breakin period still, this generator has all the features that I was looking for. Started right up on first ignition and is quieter than my other 2 inverter generators. I cant wait to test it out on full load soon. One great feature this has it that it comes with the ability to parallel connect 2 ecogen10000 generators. It also comes with the parallel connecting cord. I look forward to seeing how the power will be from this unit and how much of the house it will run, but having multiple AC units, I anticipate adding a second unit on. I will update review if anything changes.

Easy Transport

I purchased this after being without power for a week during a recent storm and am excited to have the ability to have power in the event of power outages. Excited about the ability to roll it to the desired location instead of having to carry it.

ecoGen10000 Peace of Mind Backup Generator

I recently upgraded my home electrical service and added a 30 amp generator interlock switch. Just received the ecoGen10000 Inverter Generator. Easy wheel assembly, very clear and detailed instructions. Started right up. Did a test connection to my home service panel and this should power everything I need during an emergency power outage. Highly recommended. Westinghouse also provided detailed instructions on how to convert this model to a floating neutral which I had to do for my interlock setup.
It only took about 10 minutes. Very happy with this purchase.

Amazing Generator

I purchased this generator right before hurricane Helene came through NC and I am so glad I did. Ran flawlessly everyday for almost 3 weeks before the power was restored and gave me some normalcy in a terrible situation. Great product!

I purchased this unit as a backup power source since outages are unfortunately not uncommon in the area where I live. Thankfully, I've not had to use it yet. My only experience has been in assembling it and reading the instructions, so my comments are limited to that: I wish this unit had four wheels instead of just two to make it easier to roll out when I need to use it. I'm disappointed to learn that recharging the battery requires hooking up a cord to the actual generator as for me that's going to require hooking up a long extension cord. As a photographer I have numerous pieces of equipment where I can easily remove batteries and recharge them inside my house. So I just assumed that the battery would be easily removed and brought inside for charging (right before you know a big storm is coming through). The manual could be more concise.Some things were repeated over and over. The manual says if the fob doesn't work it could be that the battery in the fob is dead, but it doesn't tell you how to change the battery. The letters on some of the diagrams could have been assigned in a more logical order.

Great Unit

Bought this inverter to power our home when we loose power. Choose the inverter for it's pure Sine wave power. Unit is very easy to assemble and get running for the first time. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish.
