Easy to assemble & operate!

Bought this generator to replace one used as backup to the solar system at our mountain cabin. Easy to assemble & hook up. No problem pairing the remote starter. Did require the propane company to install a step down regulator on our 1000 gal tank to obtain the correct pressure. Runs like a champ and powers the entire cabin without a problem. Is surprisingly quiet for a generator this big. The ability to start the generator from the cabin when it's raining or snowing is a fantastic feature.

Plenty of Power

While I haven’t had this for very long, it has been great. Used to power a refrigerator. When fridge comes on, generator hardly notices. A little louder than I thought, but that’s okay. Plenty of outlets, transfer switch ready. In doing research on generators, this brand came up often. I do think it will give me years of service.

First impressions are favorable for this generator

I took delivery yesterday. It was mostly assembled only requiring the mounting feet and wheels be installed. One of the mounting feet nuts is missing from the frame, so I will have to pick one up to complete that install. The wheels are well built and easy to install by use of a axle pin, washer, and cotter pin. I plugged in the battery charger and connected the battery. The manual says it ships charged and by the time I added the quart of oil, the battery charge light had changed from red to green. I connected my propane bottle to the regulator and used the remote for the first start. It took about 7 seconds of cranking to purge the propane line and start. I loaded the generator lightly by adding a 500W halogen light, a box fan, and a pancake air compressor. Don't forget to reset the GFCI plugs! I removed the loads after 10 minutes and allowed it to run unloaded for a few minutes and used the remote to stop the engine. I then restarted the engine using the pushbutton on the console. The engine started within 3 seconds. It takes a few seconds for the start button to illuminate solid and the dater center do turn on and display the voltage. You can then toggle through the displays. As other reviews have stated, this generator is quieter than others. It is comparable, but slightly louder than the the popular RV generators and certainly quieter than most portable generators. Delivery was fast with great updates and phone calls to ensure I was ready for the driver. It arrived a week earlier than originally promised. 15 to 20 minutes to set up an connect the propane and have it running is great. I am pleased so far with this selection.

Great Generator

Generator was delivered in 2 days, packaging was very good. Was easy to put together and started right up. I tested with gas and propane, switching on the fly and unit worked flawless. I like the all the outlet options on this unit and will use the 50a to tie into my breaker box. This unit is well built and I have high expectations for great service from this generator. Three year warranty is a nice bonus.
