Emergency Backup

Bought the generator for an emergency backup and have not used it yet. Setup is relatively simple with little time being required to prepare generator. Nice to have as backup.

Very nice unit. Tested on propane only and the unit started right up with included remote. Only assembly was two wheels and two rubber feet with all hardware and required tools included. Unit arrived with oil and a battery. The unit will trickle charge the battery while operating, but also includes an A/C battery charger that plugs into the unit's control panel. Super easy. This replaces a 14 year old Coleman Powermate 6500/8125 that had none of the features on the WGEN9500DF. My single family home has a transfer switch on a 30amp breaker, exterior outlet, and the L14-30 plug on the generator will ensure appropriate power feeds my panel although I'm limited to only receiving up to 7200w of the 8500w this unit can produce with propane.
