Easy to setup and use generator

I purchased this due to the Winter storms in Texas in 2021. We’ve also had more outages with no explanation from power company. With working from home I needed the backup. Setup was easy to follow and everything started up as expected. Still testing but everything is working as expected so far. Very happy with purchase.

This is my fourth generator and I've been impressed with the quality of this unit. The manual was nicely printed on bound vellum with clear instructions. The only information missing was the fact that the unit took a full quart of oil. Next, the wheels were no flats using ball bearings. The battery 2 pin connector was a stroke of brilliance and makes battery maintenance easy. The handle is the strongest I've seen yet and makes moving the unit over rough terrain substantially easier. I've never seen an electric start unit come with it's own charger and built in battery status indicator. I prefer using propane instead of gas and out of the box my previous units were a bear to start the first time. Not this unit! I hit the start button and it took off running as smooth as any engine can. I expected a generator this size to be loud and was extremely surprised that the sound turned out to be no more than my 20HP riding mower. I've only listed the major niceties and there are many more. Thank you Westinghouse for thoughtfull innovation on a generator.

Great generator!

We bought this last month for our frequent power outages and it has been great. Love the remote fob that lets me go to bed and then power down the generator so I'm not stumbling around in the dark and the same on waking up. The reason why I gave it 4 stars was because the 50 amp outlet must have a plate behind it that is off a bit making it really hard to get the cord in-but it'll probably not fall out easily either,
