Excellent design with great features

This is my second Westinghouse product (my first was their pressure washer). I am very satisfied with both products. The WGen9500DF started up and was purring in no time. An added benefit I wasn’t expecting is that it runs quieter than the Generac it is replacing. The remote start feature and digital readout places this product ahead of competitive products. Besides the usual running time meter, the digital display provides voltage, frequency, and maintenance reminders. I researched just about every brand in the market and happy that I decided on the Westinghouse. Based on my recommendation, three of my friends just bought the same Westinghouse generator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Runs Entire Household!

This generator is large enough to run our entire house when power goes out.
Hiring Electrician to install transfer switch for safety and ease of function.
Easy to hook up and starts easily.
Superior product!

Hurricane Ready!

We purchased this generator for use during power outages during hurricanes and other surprise outages. (Such as the February freeze!) We are very pleased with the power that this generator has and I especially like the remote start feature!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Generator

I purchased this one cause will pretty much run everything in our home.
Not only that the unit has great reviews.
Not all at once but will most of it.
Also this one is advertised to run 12 hours at 50% load on 6.6 gal fuel.
All others of same size runs no more than 9 or maybe 10 hours.
Westinghouse name and products has been around for long time also.
Unit looks great and seems to be well built.
Has Cast Iron Sleeve to reduce Cylinder wear is a plus.
Not only that the unit has great reviews.

Dual Fuel with user friendly features

I liked the idea of a dual fuel generator, but was really pleased with the extras such as remote start and a multifunction display for engine hours, maintenance and other key information.
Assembly was easy as well as understanding the controls. The generator started on the first attempt using the push button and then again with the remote.
It also included the propane connection and a small tool kit.
I'd give it 5 stars, but I'd like other handle options so it could be tilted like a hand truck/dolly. I'm also skeptical of the durability of the included wheels. I'll probably replace them with slightly larger diameter ones and new bolt feet in front to keep it level.
