I have recently purchased a Westinghouse 9500DFc generator for whole house back up. After researching several others this unit best suited my needs. The assembly and setup was very easy I have began the run in period and found it to be a bit noisier than I wanted 70bB or so but very tolerable. It manoeuvres very well with the large wheels and is very straight forward to operate. I am ready with confidence that it will handle the load demand from my house next power outage.
I brought this to prepare for hurricane season, so happy I did as I now have peace of mind knowing if we lose power I will be able to power up the appliances I need .
With as many power outages that we have here (last one was for 8 days) we decided to break down and buy a generator this year. With the 9500DF we won't have to sleep outside this year. This generator should power most of our home, especially by sectional powering what we need at the time. I love that it has 50A setup as that is the box we have on our home. The key fob is a cool lil edition bu I don't think we'll use that. We are just overly thrilled to have powet
Took less than 15 minutes to have it running from propane. Install legs and wheels, add oil and click the remote! Nice that the remote was fully charged.
I HAVE PURCHASED ABOUT 6 WEEKS AGO. i HAVE NOT HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE IT YET. IT WAS EASY TO USE WHEN I WAS TESTING IT OUT. EVERYBODY I HAVE MENTIONED I HAD PURCHASED THIS HAS SAID IT IS A GREAT GENERATOR AND I WILL BE HAPPY I HAVE IT.
