Great Quality

Even though it's only been a couple of weeks, I'm pleased with the way Westinghouse generator is built. Ran it a few times with propane and had no trouble starting up and running. Easy to handle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love Propane Feature

I mainly purchased this unit for the duel fuel. I plan to run only propane. As I was lax on maintaining fresh gas fuel. I believe using propane only will work nicely.
Having the unit for about 2 weeks, I have nt needed to use it. But it starts and runs fine. Also when I pulled my house transfer switch to test for power to my house, I did nt get the change in sound to the generator as when using gas. It was as if there was drag on the unit. And because of no drag adjustment sound, I thought that maybe power was nt getting to the house. But it was.
With the propane , I feel more confident that I could count on the unit starting when I need it!
So far I m very happy with my purchase.

Works Great, It does the job as expected

I bought this a couple weeks ago and have not had a chance to use it. We are serviced by PG&E and have experianced multi day power shut downs. We are expecting another shut down this week, now I am prepared.
I purchased this unit because of several recomdations from friends and relitives, one my son that is a supervisor for a utility company in Oregon.

Perfect for the cold, wet, windy Oregon weather.

I am replacing a Generac 30amp gas unit with the 9500DF to get the convenience of the dual fuel and higher amps.
Right out of the box you can see the quality difference of the units.
The manual is clear and concise and leaves nothing unanswered.
I found one issue with the manual which I like to read before opening anything.
the 50 amp output socket is shown on 2 pages; one has the ground plug up and the other shows it down. Confused me a bit as I am planning on making my own cable and could not find any plugs with the ground down that did'nt have the cable going up which would cause too much strain. Of course once I opened up all the way I could see that the socket is ground pin up.
love the GFCIs,as it removes the need for the long grounding stake.
Ive had 4 different gens over the years and this is by far the quietest that I've had.
don't be mistaken; it's not quiet just the quietest so far.
I love the way it starts itself and the fuel switching on the fly.
We have several outages here(in the country) and it is really a pain because we never know how long we'll be out of power. In fact it is mid-october and we've had three in the last month. The last one was about 25 hrs and had to refill the old gen 3 times. The dual fuel should end that problem for us.

I just recently bought this generator due to the threat of more power outages due to PG&E's PSP. It will literally run 10 circuits when hooked up to your main with a transfer switch, Dual fuel allows for great flexibility

Awesome Generator

Love this generator! Fired up flawlessly with remote from the first start and ran beautifully after. Powers our whole house running on propane. It is not as loud as our last generator. It has more features than our last generator and is very well built. Set up was a breeze. I researched a lot of generators and this one was the best for the price. We are very happy with our purchase.
