BOUGHT THIS GENERATOR IN THE SPRING JUST GOT AROUND TO HOOKING IT UP FIRED RIGHT UP AND RAN THE HOUSE FOR AN HOUR FEELS GOOD KNOWING I GOT SOMETHING TO FALL BACK ON LAST SPRING BIG ICE STORM HAD NO POWER FOR FIFTEEN DAYS DONT APPRECIATE IT TELL ITS GONE.

I bought this generator several weeks ago. I live in a rural area and our power goes out frequently. Last winter, our power went out for over a week and I had no back It was a very cold week! The temperature stayed in the teens and 20s with about a foot of snow. The power went out several more times for 3-4 days. I’m not going into this winter unprepared! I’ve fueled it up and tested it and it works great!

New Unit

I haven't had to use the unit during a real power outage, but assembly and test was very easy. I love the remote start feature using the key fob that comes with unit. I tested this with the GenerLink gadget the utility company put on my electric meter and it worked great!...supplied 40 amps of power from the meter to my breaker box.

Wouldn't start when I needed it

I started the generator right away when I received it. Started a few times after that- then when I needed it and to this day it won't start. I have gone through all the trouble shooting steps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this to replace a gas generator I had. I love that it’s dual fuel and can connect it to my propane tank. This is so much easier than gas but I have the option to use gas if I want!!! I like the remote start also!!!
