Reviewing without operating the equipment

I just took this out of the box and put it together. I am giving it 4 stars without even running it one time. I did notice the included oil does not fill the oil reserve past the low indicator. I purchased such a large generator to hook up to a transfer switch and believe the dual fuel option is a necessity in Florida. I am in the process of reading through the manual to ensure longevity of the generator which seems easy enough to maintain. I am a bit leery of switching between propane and gas as I have read several reviews that included this issue. I am also interested in how the remote start will function. This may be a lemon so take my review as you wish.

Dual Fuel/overall features

Received the Wgen9500DF a little over a week ago, and have just unboxed (7/18/21) and placed wheels and supports on unit and put in the oil... I have not started as yet since we will be use with a manual by-pass switch which is not fully installed as yet. I did months of research and looked at many customers comments on this and other brands and found the Westinghouse brand to have the features we wanted; Duel fuel, push button start with remote start capabilities. Cost per K/W was also reasonable given the value of the Westinghouse brand name. The Generator arrived with no visible dings or scaring; there was an abrasion from a tie down but hey, its a generator.... Looking forward to the initial start-up

Well Built and "NOT MADE IN CHINA"

Well built, great features, and all for the right price. Can power almost the entire house. I just hope I never have to use because of a hurricane...

MADE THE CHOICE OF THE WGEN9500DF AFTER A LONG, INTENSE RESEARCH OF AVAILABLE GENERATORS. UPON RECIVING, MINOR ASSEMBLY AND STARTUP, I'AM POSITIVE IT WAS THE BEST CHOICE.
MANUALS WHICH WERE EASY TO FOLLOW, ACCESSORIES, ETC. WERE COMPLETE AND TOOK ME FROM CARTON TO RUNNING WITH EASE AND SUPPLIED TOOLS FOR FUTURE SERVICING.
AFTER INITIAL RUNNING, IT WAS TESTED OUT FOR ACTUAL SERVICE AND IT PREFORMED BETTER THAN MY EXPECTATIONS FOR SUPPLIED POWER, QUIET RUNNING AND THE REMOTE START/STOP IS A BIG PLUS.
