Just in time Gen Unit (TS Elsa coming)

My new Wgen9500DF arrived just ahead of TS Elsa that is moving up the coast. It took me 90 mins to read manual (recommended; will be needed to program remote starter) and get it started. Following the instructions and it started right up. I ran it for 15 mins or so without load and now ready if needed due to TS Elsa. Thanks Westinghouse. Chuck

Just what I wanted

Unit arrived earlier that originally stated. It is a very heavy unit but installing the wheels and feet are easier if you block up the unit instead of trying to tip it on its side as indicated in the manual. Startup on propane was painless and immediate. Unit shipped with the GFCI receptacles in the tripped state. Once reset, all worked as expected. The only suggestion would be shipping enough oil with the unit to actually fill to the recommended level of between the low and high marks on the dipstick. The oil shipped with the unit barely made it to the low mark. Fortunately, I had oil of the same rating to add.

Outstanding Quality Generator

I received the 9500DF a few days ago within one week of placing my order. It was packed perfectly and the little assembly of adding the oil, feet and wheels it started right up and ran with no issues. I like the programed start up and the FOB start up. I will be using the generator for emergency powering my home less the A/C and heating system. It will supply the power for all the lighting I will need as well as my refrigerator, freezer and two space heaters. I am well pleased with my purchase.

This generator fulfills all my specifications to back up my entire medium-size house during power grid outages. Super easy to set up, outstanding product operating manual, and dual-fuel capability. Everything is well-made, and operating the generator is very simple.
