Great generator

Very high quality generator. Far better design and function than previous generator. It is big and heavy but the large wheels and padded hand bar make it reasonable to move.

More than could ask for

I bought this as a home backup generator, ran little stuff around house and doesn’t budge, will run home AC when get transfer switch wired. Not as loud as I thought. Would say it’s quieter than a push mower

This has great features. Has a manual start or remote start, versatility either way. Dual fuel is two options. Easy switch over from gas to propane. Instructions clear for operations of generator. Another great feature is battery charger system. Multiple outlets for use. Also has auto shut off if low on oil.

Great Features! Easy Setup!

We bought this for backup for my parents house. They are in a rural area and the power sometimes is intermittent. We paired it with a Generlink transfer switch and a 40lb propane bottle. It started right up and the transition from Gas to Propane never misses a beat. The remote start feature is what sold us on it. They can start it without having to go out in the elements. Really liked that it is backed by Westinghouse. When I was researching the gereratorI talked to their tech support several times and they were very helpful with my questions. That helped solidify my decision to go with this unit.

All the features I need

Purchased WGEN9500DF in Nov 2020. Ran on propane and gasoline without issue. When starting on gas open the gas shutoff vale and turn the engine control switch/battery disconnect to on. Wait a few moments for fuel to fill the carburetor bowl. This will improve the starting of the engine. When connected to the house panel it ran the high efficiency furnace and any UPS's that were connected were happy. The frequency was set to 62.5 Hz and I lowered to 61.5 Hz as I don't have any loads that will push the 9500 watts. The UPS's may not be happy with 62.5.
