LOVE this generator

I was looking for a generator that I would be able to handle if my husband was out of town. We have intense storms and hurricanes. The remote and push start button is so much easier than the pull start.

Best features for the money

I live in Florida and it's hurricane season, so I decided to have the house set up for power outages. I like the dual fuel feature since we have propane on site, and as soon as I got it home, I hooked it up to 20g bottle and it fired right up with the remote start. It is loud, so I imagine I'll need to do something to address that issue. I'm also planning on tying it into our 250 gallon home propane tank in the near future. I'm not a fan of storing gasoline or fighting for it when a storm is headed our way.

So Far So Good!

I purchased this item in June and fired it up on July 4th with no issues. The real test will come tomorrow when the electrician installs the 50 amp transfer switch.

Remote start is a dream come true

We live in the southeast and it being very hurricane season with a preseason named storm we tested out our old generator and it was no longer of the living so we did our research and decided what we wanted on a new unit and went with the WGen9500DF the remote start works from our house to our shed (my husband tested the distance as husband's do) he has it wired in the shed and he can turn it on from the living room and the bedroom so no matter where we are when the power goes out (as long as the remote isn't lost) we will have almost instant power.

Excellent generator

I bought this generator 2 days before Hurricane Beryl hit Houston, Texas and left us without power for over 5 days. This generator was a life saver powering my whole house thru this outage. I highly recommend having a transfer switch installed along with this to make it much easier to use. Excellent investment especially for the Gulf Coast of Texas.
