Purchased this as a backup for power outages. We have had multiple power outages and this has easily supported multiple fridges and freezers.

Perfect for Texas Freezes and Hurricanes

Purchased this after my previous generator failed to work when needed. Works with propane out of the box and is able to power most of the homes essential appliances (kitchen, AC, TV) as well as the pool via dedicated hook-up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good overall generator. Will fill my needs

Generator was bought for peace of mind when power goes off. I like the dual fuel option so I dont have to store gas which goes bad. I will have lp tanks to get me started and if need generator for longer duration then I can switch to gas. It has enough power to supply my house so I can use everything.

great features great price am blown away by this generator it is replacing my old generac that i bought back in 2005 the new features this one are awesome did research and the westinghouse rated no.1 time will tell am very happy with it.Keep up the good work westinghouse

This is my second WGen9500DF

This purchase is my second 9500DF. I purchased my first one a year ago and could not be more pleased. I run it on Propane. My neighbor had purchased another brand of the same size generator and was very unhappy with it. It would never start. After he saw how reliably the 9500DF started he sold his and purchased a 9500DF. Ed

Excellent piece of equipment

We have frequent power outages and this fills our need for back-up power. Had the power company install a whole house disconnect unit under the electric meter. This unit plugs into the disconnect unit and then can supply power to any circuit in the house simply by turning breakers on and off as needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to follow instructions. Started on first attempt. Cool remote start if needed. Easy to switch between fuel types.
