Great generator but lack of initial instructions

This generator packs a punch when it comes to performance. The remote start feature is an absolute game-changer, offering unparalleled convenience. Once you get the hang of it, this machine is a reliable power source.
However, the initial setup can be frustrating due to unclear instructions. It took some trial and error to fully understand the generator's functions. A more comprehensive quick start manual would definitely improve the user experience.
Despite this hiccup, the generator's performance and the remote start feature make it a valuable asset.

We’re so pleased. Hopefully we won’t have to deal with another storm like Beryl but we’ll be better prepared.

Having two fuel options is a bonus for this generator
I needed something dependable as a have an elderly person at home who needs constant electricity for medical devices. This is a very dependable generator.

I have been through numerous hurricanes here in south Florida the past 40 years. This generator is an upgrade from my previous and has plenty of power, dual fuel, electric start and comes with everything I need. Assembly was easy and it started right up. Highly recommend!

Hurricane season is upon us so thought I should invest in a portable generator. After much research I decided on the Westinghouse WGen9500DFc. The generator was received in perfect condition. Well packaged and protected. The instructions to attach the front feet and wheels and add the oil were easy to follow and only took a few minutes. They included all the necessary tools and even a funnel to use to add the oil. Well done! Attached the battery connectors and added some fuel. The generator started right up. I let it run for about 10 minutes and it ran very well. I am very happy with this purchase.

We bought this item 2 weeks ago after a hurricane and losing power for a couple days. We wanted power when the next hurricane or major storm comes through. Very easy to set up and run and plenty of power to fun what we need (fans, fridge, portable ac unit, lights).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm impressed by the construction of this unit and look forward to many years of service. Made in Vietnam so I'm good with that.
