started looking for generators and the Westinghouse ones seemed to be some of the highest rated by online reviews. I want one to be a manual switch backup for our house when we lose power. I went with the Wgen9500DF. I knew they must be pretty popular because they were sold out everywhere. Finally, months after searching regularly one became available and I scooped it up. So I received it a short time later. Box came in good condition. Directions are good. I went ahead and tested it using both gas and propane and it started and ran fine on both. That's where I have to stop the review though as we have not had a power outage to test it out. It seems like a nice unit though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Arrived in good order. Assembled and checked through items in box. Everything seems good. Have not fired it up yet. Will do so when I get oil and gas in it. If it starts and runs well I will give a five star rating.

I bought this about 5 months ago and waited until an electrician could come to hook it up. I haven't used it yet but the electrician was very impressed. Looking forward to using it. Lots of good features !

On/Off switch failure

Worked great out og the box and then poof!!! On/Off switch failed, took 2 months to get one because they were out of stock (I'm guessing because of how many replacements they've had to send out). It failed again a month later!!! I'd return it, but since it was a gift I have no receipt...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
