This is a workhorse. The only think lacking was the instructions in the box was from an older model. I had to call support because what it was saying was not matching up with what I saw I front of me.
Now in the description online it said the noise produced was like a loud dishwasher. I think it would be more accurate to say, a few loud industrial dishwashers put together. Hahaaa. But this is all small stuff

Exactly what a woman needs

Just purchased this generator after the winter storms hit Texas. Being from NC we have bad winter and summer storms. I am a nurse that takes care of a medically fragile patient and we must depend on many medical devices such as his low air loss mattress and hospital bed, oxygen concentrator, and suction machine to just name a few. I must have the most reliable power source in the event of an emergency. I did much research and spoke with several other mechanically inclined "men" to see where I should put my money. The most important feature to me was that I could operate it by myself. I liked the keyfob best of all. I can click it out the window and not have to leave my patient's side. I liked the dual fuel option, especially being able to switch from one source to the other without turning it off. I liked that it has an automatic low oil shutoff. I liked that it has a metal gas tank, not plastic like my old generator that I can't operate by myself. I like that it can be hooked up to the house and run the whole house and I don't have to run drop cords everywhere. The hard tires are great, no need to worry about getting a flat. I'm a 5'0" tall female and had no trouble moving it around in the garage. After the quick assembly and adding the oil was the moment of truth. I pointed the keyfob and pushed, it fried up on the first touch. It ran surprisingly quiet, just another bonus. I don't want to lose power but now I can rest assured that I can manage this generator by myself. I will be ready and will post again after I am able to use it more.

The Generator Man

There are very few products on the market that offer what this WGen9500DF have. The 50amp connection, FOB remote starting and of course the ease of dual fuel selection. This is a very nice generator, I know because I'm a generator man. The "system" includes everything you will need, including tools and oil. Starting is very easy everything is right at your finger tips, clear instructions and with safety in mind. A tremendous asset to our home.

love remote start

Power was out 2.5 days the next day after delivery. used propane (froze after 4 hours with 20 lbs tank switched to gas) switched back and forth made it work.
Connected to a transfer switch ran all I needed plus a deep well pump 240v.
