Great Features

Shipping was fast. It was here in 1 week as advertised and in good condition. I really like the push button start feature and the remote start. I have only had it for a couple weeks, and haven't had a chance to put it through its paces. But it worked great after putting oil and gas in it. I'm looking forward to configuring it to hook up to a transfer box on the house.

Great Generator

I purchased this generator as a backup in the event of a power outage. Fortunately, I haven’t had to use it yet, but it went together very easily and started up with just a few attempts. It easily powered the six circuits I have wired to my transfer switch using the 30 Amp outlet. I have great peace of mind owning this equipment in an area with frequent power outages.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great generator in an easy to use package.

After reading review after review I finally decided the best bang for the buck generator was the wgen9500df. While I’d love to of had the flexibility of the wgen12000df I couldn’t justify the jump in price between the two models. Also the size of the 9500 is just right to not take up to much room while stored.
Right out of the box the 9500 fired up and ran flawlessly. The power output is more than enough to run major house items comfortably during power outages. My only real concern with this generator is the <23% thd. This was a major negative for me as I did not know how well it would react with sensitive electronics (which include my nest thermostats for HVAC). After a trial run I have not had any major issues, and most computers/televisions/entertainment/etc. are run through a UPS which would eliminate any distortion already.
Overall this is a great and easy to use generator straight out of the box. If Westinghouse lowers the thd I believe it would be the absolute king of generators!

It has the right features, the option for fuel is just what I wanted, I am glad I purchased this when it was available. Reasonable maintenance as well.
