Awesome Generator with all the bells and whistles

This generator has features to keep the home owner and the generator safe. Will meet and exceed all my power needs , dual fuel gas or propane. Easy to move when needed with large wheels , covers over the outlets to keep them dry and working, just a well built generator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dependable?

I purchased a Westinghouse WGEN9500DF (via Amazon) a few months ago. Initially, it worked fine, the remote fob was a real plus (using it to power my 5th wheel, I didn't need to shut it down outside, at the generator). The problem arose when I simply moved the generator. I shut it down, relocated it, then...NO PUSHBUTTON START..NO REMOTE/FOB START (only started via recoil/pullcord).
Yes...battery fine. No failure codes indicated.
So, since I need this generator, I'll be troubleshooting electronics myself (as generator will shutdown via fob but will not start).

Best Purchase Ever!

I bought this generator a little over a year ago at the recommendation of my electrician. I thought I wanted a Generac! Thank God he talked me out of that. This beast sat in my garage for a year until 2 weeks ago there was Hurricane Francine headed to the Gulf of Mexico. My electrician hooked up a generator plug outside of my breaker box, I purchased 20 gallons of gas and we waited. Sure enough the power went out and this wonderful piece of equipment powered 3 of the 4 bedrooms (which all has portable air conditioning), the side of the kitchen with refrigerator, the garage which has an upright freezer, the den (TV, internet router, 2 lamps). It was as if we never lost power! I'm so sorry I didn't buy this years ago. We lost power during Hurricane Ida in 2021 and we evacuated to Houston. A 4.5 hour drive took 17 hours!!! Never again. I have recommended this generator to my neighbors and family. So easy to use. Thank you
