Excellent All-Around Generator

50A output is just what I need for whole house backup power. Being able to run off either propane or gasoline is a huge plus. I have it stored in my shed and will hook up a solar float charger for the battery. It’s quieter than I thought it would be.

Bought this after hurricane Helene came through. Love the dual fuel!! While this one is more powerful than my older generator, it's a much smaller size. Would definitely recommend!

Looks great and works out of the gate

I just got this today. It looks extremely well built. All wiring and connections look solid - definitely no corners cut. Wheels are easy to install, pour in the provided oil, add fuel and flip a few switches and you're off... It started up with ease and I ran a few power tools off it. I couldn't get it to rev up so I'll hook a toaster or coffee maker to it tomorrow.
Had a lot of generators running due to storms around the neighborhood and this would probably be one of the quietest. You're not going to read a book by it, but it shouldn't keep the neighbors (or you) up at night.

I have only had the Westinghouse 9500DF for less than a month. Set up was very simple and only a couple of things to complete.
The generator was started on gasoline and it started immediately on remote start.
It has not been tested long term yet but the initial condition and operation is excellent.

I was pleasantly surprised just how versatile this generator is! Easy to operate. Easy to transport. Surprisingly lightweight for the power it provides!
