Easy start!

I've had this generator for a while now and haven't needed to use it much but when I do, it is reliably ready. I love the dual fuel option and easy push start feature. The generator runs practically the whole house when needed.

Solid build

Solid build quality for this generator. Unfortunately this current size model is unable to power my and run the hvac so I’ll have to upgrade to the 18kw variant. Other than that if you have AC units under 5 tons this 12.5 should be more than enough!

Good design

Worked well right out of the box. Used as a rural house backup generator: 3500 sq.ft., 1 hp well pump, 1/2 hp septic pump and 5 ton heat pump. Handled the electrical loads with some minor dipping of voltage. Used only propane only so far.
Opportunities for improvement:
1. Instructions on how to use the battery charger. There is a light on the plug-in charger that is red when charging and turns green when charged.
2. Reroute the battery wiring away from the oil dip stick
3. Relocate the battery so the wheel does not have to be removed for battery replacement
4. Improve muffler/housing to reduce noise
