Versatile Back-up Power

We purchased this generator to replace our 16 year old one that started to leak excessively. We use the generator primarily as a back-up power source for our home when we lose power. Although we haven't had a reason to use it yet, we love that this generator has the option of using gasoline or propane, that it's powerful enough to run everything we need during an outage, and the remote start is so convenient!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything I need and more!

I only purchased this 4 days ago, but I am already thrilled with it. The same day I got it, I pulled it out of the box, put the wheels and feet on. (Very simple I might add, and everything I needed to do it was included.) Then I proceeded easily attach the battery power with the snap fitting on it, add the oil, gasoline, turn on the fuel cutoff valve, flip on the power ready switch, and I pushed the start button on the remote key fob. Voila!, it started right up on the first try, and the amperage meter quickly topped out at maximum wattage. I don't have a transfer box on my 1800 square ft house yet, so I thought I would just experiment with a few appliances. I plugged in two full size refrigerators, two mini fridges, my washer, my dryer, and the five big screen televisions that are in the house. I also added two electric fireplaces, and just for kicks, three computers, and a couple space heaters. This thing is a Beast! it didn't even measure half of it's capacity. I am confident that when I do plug it in to the whole house circuit box, it will have no difficulty in performing at a satisfactory level. This in my opinion is a must buy..

I just purchased the Wgen9500DFc. It’s a very nice generator. Electric start is much appreciated. I had a little trouble getting it running with propane initially but I let it sit overnight and it started and ran fine today. I need to test it under load, but this has to wait for a few days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got through 2 hurricanes with my old underpowered generator. My new and larger Westinghouse will make things a lot more comfortable. Easy to unbox and setup. Started easily
