Perfect for what you need

The generator takes both types of fuels and it’s easy to start it run smoothly and fairly quiet and it is able to power everything in my house and I need that I need powered

Great Product to Own

Bought this as a backup generator for my home. Came on a pallet and delivered to my garage. Opened up to assemble and being a 78 year old man can only lift so much. The unit weighs just over 200# but by turning it on the pallet, was able to put wheels on as just high enough. l then turned it a little more and could put the feet on the other end and I was ready to go. After putting oil in and gas, I found the fuel turn on valve and it started up and ran within a few seconds. Totally portable by me by myself and will hook up to the house power. Exactly what I was looking for and totally impressed by the enclosed literature and the unit. Glad I purchased this one over others.

Made a 4 day power outage bearable

A weather event took out the power in the area I live. The power was out for 4 days. With this generator, a power cord, and a transfer switch I had installed, my wife and I were able to be comfortable and keep up most of our daily routine. I was able to run the blower on my gas furnace, the gas water heater, the dishwasher, washing machine, TV, lights, internet, and even the coffee maker. I was careful not to run multiple high current appliances at the same time, and I didn't run the clothes dryer or microwave (although possibly I could have run the microwave).
We ran the generator on propane, and found that a 40 pound propane canister allowed us to run the generator from about 6 in the morning until 8 at night, with a little left over. You get less power output with propane, but there's no carburetor issues to worry about when you put the generator away.
The only negative I will mention is that the generated power is too "dirty" for the UPS I use on my computer, internet router, and some other devices. This meant I had to unplug from the UPS and plug directly in the wall. I've heard it is possible to find UPS that are more tolerant of this, but they are expensive.

Plenty of power

I bought this generator first because it was American made and dual fuel which gives me twice the runtime without refueling since I can switch fuels gasoline and propane on the fly. This is very easy to do especially for my wife when I am not at home. The remote start feature is great for her on a cold day when all she has to do is flip one switch to use the other fuel
