I had to wait awhile due to being on back order. Then the box was damaged when delivered. I refused it and it was taken back and immediately taken care of by the company I purchased it from. Last I had to wait for an electrician to install it. With all the power shut offs by PG&E.We have had three more and more to come during fire season. The first one was three days. It was impossible to find any here. Then every electrician was installing generators. I had to wait in line for 2 months. It was all worth it. The generator ran more than I thought it would with no problem. We were not sure if it would run the air conditioner in the house. IT DID! YES! A large freezer, a refrigerator, all the lights, three TVs, Microwave, blow dryer. Not the washer and dryer, or the stove and oven, in a 1400 SQ foot tr-level. It will cover the pellet stove in the winter also. Truly pleased. The electrician was not sure if it would run the air conditioner. Everyone who sees it likes it!!! THANK YOU.

This generator will come in handy for the remainder of the hurricane season and hopefully many more. It's built like a tank, with the ability to run off of clean propane - a feature that's needed during extended power outages, as gas requires electricity to pump.

Haven't had a chance to really use it, bought during a wildfire and by the time we got home, we had power. It was very easy to set up and started up right away though! Quiet for it's size. Excited to actually put it to the test when we lose power in the winter.

Simple setup and love the dual fuel and remote

I'm going to use this as a whole house standby in case of storms. I like the dual fuel option, but my plan is to only use propane, so I stocked up on 4 spare 20lb tanks. Propane puts out slightly less power but lasts forever. The generator went together easily, just the feet and wheels needed assembly and of course oil fill and battery connection. It came with oil and a oil fill, very nice. I connected to propane with the included hose and regulator to my tank, pressed the start button and after just a second or two of cranking it fired right up (on propane no issues). This unit even with reduced power to 8500 watts is more than enough for the 30amp twist lock connector. My electrician comes next week to install a 30amp interlock, then i can try it out as a test. My amp measurements show short of my electric dryer it should power everything including my two split AC systems and oil fired burner with no problem. The remote is added bonus as I can start the unit from inside after switching the breaker panel over. I expect it will be very handy in bad weather.

I decided to purchase this during the wrath of Hurricane Sally. I had been wanting a generator and being without power for 4 days helped me to decide that I needed a generator which can handle freezers, refrigerator and most importantly the beer fridge. The electric start feature is fabulous and a must for me.
