I hooked it to propane and test-ran it for 8 hours. Zero problems on low-pressure propane.

Awesome generator, needed it for snow coming on this way winter storm just hooked it up with extension cords, going to have a plug installed to my breaker box.

mostly strong enough

This product did not run a freezer that a lower powered generator did run.
It did run all other appliances it was asked to do.
It started easily and and ran fine other than not able to run that freezer.
Is there any way to get that freezer to run?

Almost a great generator.

I have used this generator for five years. It handles loads as per its guidelines. It starts easily and dependably. I have used this to run large floor sanders and to backup a residential solar system. The only reason I give this four versus five stars is because the fuel solenoid is electric, requiring 12 volts. Accordingly, the pull start will not bail you out should your battery give out. If you don't have 12 volts going into the solenoid, then the generator will not run on gasoline (it still will run on propane). The unit should be designed to run without the battery and using the pull start.
