Westinghouse DF 9500 Generator

Easy to follow instructions started 1st button pus

Running this now on propane to break in (dont forget there is a break in period).
Put wheels and feet on
Filled oil (make sure unit is level)
Connected propane, checked seals.
Plugged battery connect together.
Flipped battery to ON
Pressed ON button.
Started immediately.
Got this to replace a 20 yr old pull start single fuel/gas.
At 57 did not want to be in the cold pull starting anymore.
Use this to run my entire downstairs, furnace and air handlers.
Running on 30 amp subpanel now
Will upgrade to 50 amp service to take full advantage of this larger generator.
Which will be able to run my new heat pumps and have ac in summer!

Easy to setup and start

Very easy to setup and start. Good documentation and runs pretty quietly. Got a kick out of the remote key fob starter which allows you to start and stop with the push of a button. Grok.com assured me that the WGen9500DF has enough power to power my whole 3 bedroom house and kitchen and heat pump during an outage, so I bought this beast. We shall see how it performs during the next winter storm outage up here in the PNW Seattle area. So far though, am quite impressed.
