Quick Start Guide Instructions Were Top Notch

I purchased in Oct 2025 the Westinghouse WGen9500DF generator. I followed the Quick Start Guide instructions supplemented by the owners manual and had no problem completing the prep work in the beginning and started the generator with both gasoline and propane fuel. The only suggestion would be to include a video link on the instructions to supplement the written word. This would also assist in staging some of the prep work that needed to be done, i.e. are wheels already attached? Didn't know for sure until the box was open. Can this be placed on the outside of the box? Also, you would be hard pressed to complete this task without assistance.

Peace of mind

This was the generator several of our friends recommended they used to run their houses when the power went out. We are ready and no more candles and being buried under blankets during a power outage

I spent many hours researching and talking with electricians and made the decision. It was easy to get together upon delivery and started right up. We plugged it in and eveything went perfectly. Our 1688 sq foot home was fully functional. This was a terrific investment for us. Anyone thinking about a home generator should really check out the Westinghouse 9500 Generators. You’ll be glad you did!

Portable Generator

I just purchased this unit. I am going to be installing a manual transfer switch. So far I am very happy with the unit. It was shipped earlier than expected. Absolutely no damage to the box or the unit. Set up instructions were straight forward and all parts were included.i am really looking forward to never using it, but having it for complete peace of mind. I should be able to power all the essentials in my home if needed.
