Easy assembly and start up

We bought our generator on July 16 for our anniversary gift to each other. It was delivered a week later with no problem. Assembly was nothing and with a little oil and gas and about an hour of wiring into our home beaker panel we were up and running. Awesome machine ! We get so excited around hurricane season. We may never need it but we have it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Right out of the box, I put oil in it, a gallon of gasoline, and it started right up. The remote also was pre-programmed and works also. Several items I think are noteworthy but not necessarily a criticism.
Oil filler is awkward to remove, whereas it is right in line with the battery cables. Secondly, it would have been useful to know exactly how much oil it took. It says in the manual, 1.1 (L). I do not believe that to be accurate.
The tires are not going to perform well on wet grass.
The manual states it should not be operated in the rain. Also, it says the generator should not be operated in an enclosure. Where do you think people are going to operate a generator in an emergency? I bought it for hurricane season, so I cannot leave it outside? Do I build a shelter for it? This is the one question I want an answer to.
I think overall I am going to be pleased with it. I am having an electrician wire in a transfer panel and by my own estimations, it will power my whole house. BEFORE I need it, I will certainly plug it in and just see what the capabilities are. Thank you.

Top Quality at a Great Price

We already own a couple of Westinghouse inverter generators for powering our travel trailer that are very well built and run flawlessly. After opening this generator and installed the wheels and feet, it's clear that the quality is the same. Glad to have Westinghouse backing us up in case of a power outage at home.

Great Service and Delivery

Purchased in anticipation of PG&E blackouts. Order was filled and delivered in 6 days. Appears easy to operate. We hired an electrician to install a transfer switch. It may be a bit heavy to move when not in use.
