We bought this to use with our transfer switch and it works great! The electric start is awesome and the generator runs great. I definitely recommend it. We used it with gas, but it also runs off of propane.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great feature, starts every time

Great generator, has been wonderful for power outages and use for power tools. Dual fuel option is great in those winter months when you don’t have good gas and aren’t expecting an outage.

Generator 9500DF

I bought this a month ago, so far so good, I like the electric start. I tried it on propane and seems to preform well. I tried to use it with gasoline today and seemed to preform well. I did find a drip coming from the fuel shutoff valve. While turning it it appears to leak. the leaking stopped when it was off, however if you apply a little pressure to the valve it leaks. I'm sure it will need to be replaced in the near future, but if this is the only problem I have with it, that would be ok. Not sure if I'll do a warranty claim or contact them directly and request a new fuel shut off valve. They're simple to change.

No more carb issues

Several of my neighbors had bought similar dual fuel Westinghouse generators a few years ago along with interlock kits to be able to power through their home service panels. I hadn't and regretted it during a multi-day outage from a recent hurricane. My old gas generator was running roughly once I had finally gotten it running. Nice not to have to worry about carb issues - planning to run exclusively from propane to avoid this in the future.
