exactly what we were looking for

I ordered this a week and a half ago. It arrived quicker than expected and just in time. Hurricane Isaias hit us hard and power out. Couldn't ask for a better product or company (Power Equip Direct) to buy from.

So Far So Good!

I purchased this item based on the great reviews from many other customers. I have not had to use the generator for emergency purposes, but glad I have a reliable product to protect my family. Before making the purchase, I discussed this and other models with a master electrician and he stated this had everything I needed for my desired purpose. The only down side so far is that everyone was out of stock on the 12000 DF Model I was planning on purchasing. In the end, I got the machine I really need and saved some money.

Easy to Use!

We purchased the Westinghouse Dual Fuel 9500 generator in late June, 2020. We were able to set it up and use it this past week during Tropical Storm Isaias. It was easy to set up and easy to use. We were able to run everything we needed. We love the option of running both off of gasoline and propane as many gas stations were without power also. Well worth it!

Perfect home backup generator

I purchased the Westinghouse WGen9500DF generator for home backup power and to run any power tools on our acreage. It always starts every time whether electronically or with the pull start. I have yet to find anything wrong with it, and it’s super easy to transport. The remote start to me is a huge plus. Also the fact that it’s dual fuel and can use propane and gas is perfect for emergencies. We use propane so we can store fuel long term, and also couple it with our large home propane tank. I used it during the last power outage to power our freezer and it went without a hitch. I would recommend this generator to anyone who needs home backup power or any kind of portable usage for power usage.

Better than Expected

After researching a number of generators I decided to go with the Westinghouse because two of my neighbors owned similar models and recommended the brand. The instructions were user friendly and the wheels were relatively easy to install considering the bulk and weight of the product. What impressed me was the easy starting mechanism and the level of noise was far less than I expected.

Great Features!

I bought this 9500DF recently. Setup was very easy. Started right up on Gasoline. Then transferred to propane supply. No problem, kept running! Not overly loud either. Used the remote to start & stop. Very convenient! Waiting to get 50-amp breaker / receptacle installed on house panel box so I can run select inside lights, select appliances and 3.5 ton AC unit.
