Great Home Back Up Generator

Unit was competitively priced, it arrived earlier than expected, it was packaged properly for transport. The assembly of the unit was very easy. The unit started on the first try. Extremely happy with the purchase. In these trying times I want my family to be safe in any storms or power outages. A dedicated unit has an issue and the service tech comes to you, if a portable has an issue you can take it to be serviced. JJW

So Far, So Good!

Just took delivery of this machine. Put oil and gas in it and it started right up....ran it a couple of hours and then plugged in a couple of freezers and fridge and it didn’t miss a beat! This should be all the machine I’ll ever need!

I've been interested in buying a generator for a few years now. When I started researching them I noticed that Westinghouse kept coming up with high marks. I took delivery today and was impressed right out of the box. Easy to set up and started first time. Tried it under load on the house with a/c and well pump running at the same time. This is all I need. Glad I bought it.

WGen9500DF Potent Power Unit

I just received this united on 9/11/2020 (37 days after purchase) and put it thru all of the non load run tests. It started on gasoline and propane by remote and push button every time with minimum noise/vibrations and no leaks. Ran 4 times for 1/2 hr. each on both fuels with no problems, real test will come when power outage occurs. Only issue I had was a minor one. The weld on nut for one of the front feet was poorly done and snapped off when tightening.

Good generator

The generator works good. I am able to run my home's old central 3-ton AC, and more. I had an electrician put a 50 amp inlet to my breaker box. The only issue is that I need to use starter fluid (spray can) to get the engine to start when cold. I use the remote electric start and spray some fluid into the air filter when the engine starts turning over, and it starts. When warmed up it starts on its own. I like the fact that it comes with a battery charger. Every couple of months of storage you should charge the battery for 8 hours. I like the remote start. If I want, I can start and stop the generator from inside my house.
