Best Packaging ever

This product was shipped the way I would want it shipped. Assembly could be performed by a competent 12 year old kid. The unit is shipped without oil in the motor and I thought I would need to drive to the store for oil but it's in the box - yea!
Additionally, there is a specially shaped funnel included for adding oil. Who else does this? I would suggest making the funnel port as large as possible to allow faster oil filling. The wheels go on without the need for tools which is a great design feature. There are two foot pads which require a wrench and they even supplied a wrench to do that - a rarity indeed. The box even contains a spark plug wrench which has nothing to do with assembly but they even include one of these for a day in the future when the plug will be changed. This is a big motor so electric start is logical over pulling on a rope. it started easily on gasoline and I ran it 5 minutes then shut down and started it with the rope. The choke moves automatically away from the choke position when the engine starts. I ran for ten minutes without issue and shut down. It seems to be a beefy unit and not cheaply made. I had a 45 year career in manufacturing and supplier development for gas and diesel fuel injection product. The cast iron sleeves in the engine cylinder and dual fuel choices was my tie breaker when deciding to buy this Westinghouse unit. I'll look to update after the electrician connects to my circuit breaker panel.

LOOKS GOOD SO FAR

The generator was delivered in excellent shape. I unpacked it and put the wheels alone by myself. It is easy to move around with the handle bar. I used Propane to start it up after adding the crank case oil. I pushed the key fob remote once and the engine automatically cranked three separate time then started. It is pretty loud but what can you expect? Inside I could barely hear it though on the other side of the house. I plugged in a light to see if it worked, and it did. So far, so good. The electrician comes soon to wire a transfer switch.

Runs fine, easy to start

Haven't had to use it for a power outage as of yet but during the test phase it worked great, remote start/stop worked and push button start worked. Only tested it with propane, I will avoid using gas at all costs. Already got a friend to buy the smaller model.

We needed a sizable generator for our well and we chose a dual fuel unit that has very positive reviews. We have propane available and this eliminated the problem with gumming up with poor gasoline. It fired up right away. We are 100% pleased. Thank you
