Hoping this is a great generator!

After reading the reviews, i felt this was a great selection. Some minor issues with assembling- feet install bolts would not thread in due to bad alignment in assemble, the pin for the one of the tire mounts would not go through the hole due to a metal bur, had to clean up....
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Westinghouse generator. Because I have been so pleased with the first one purchased about 5 years ago, I purchased this larger dual fuel model.
Extremely well made and great features. I really like the key fob remote start.
This generator has all the power I need for emergencies.
Instructions are well written and easy to understand.
I also purchased the Westinghouse transfer switch.
Again, repeat customer and no complaints.

Great Generator!

We bought this recently, and while we will be using it heavily at the end of the month we have just started it up. It took quite a few tries to get it started the first time, which caused us to think it was either broken or we missed a step. But after letting it try the battery (one-touch) start for 5 minutes it fired up and ran like a champ. I think they should leave a notice somewhere that this might occur and not to worry to make customers feel better or prevent returns. That said, other than having to buy an adapter to cover the 4-prong locking 30 Amp to a standard 3-prong camper 30 Amp it has a lot of great features. We were able to run the a 50-amp camper with the air cranked up no problem. The switch between propane and gas is so easily and seamless since you don't have to turn it off to do it. I hardly noticed it changed over since it didn't break a sweat. I do wish it was a little bit quieter, but for the power you get and the price (compared to an inverter which can be quieter at sometimes DOUBLE the price) I really cannot complain too much. Overall, a great purchase and we look forward to hopefully MANY years to come.

Great Generator

I live in an area with multiple power outages a year. I really like the electric start and much quieter than my last generator (different brand). Size is prefect for my use, we use propane to heat and this takes care of all the rest.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just received my generator. I bought it for dual fuel & the remote. Arrived well packed with no damage. This Westinghouse 9500DF is quieter than my smaller Generac 5500 and runs a lot smoother. Best generator and the price is right.

A victim of recent Hurricane Zeta ... no power for 5 days! The wGen9500 checked all my requirement boxes. May never need it ... but have it just in case.
