Best Value For The Money

I bought this portable generator to insure power for our mushroom farm if main power goes out. Upon receiving the power generator, I quickly up packed it from its shipping box, assembled the wheels and stationary feet. I read all the instructions in the owners manual and proceeded to fill the oil and hook up a 20 lbs LPG tank. Checked the charge on the battery (12.56 V) and turned on the On/Off switch. I then linked the remote fob. Extremely easy to accomplish. Then I stood up and pressed the START button on the fob and watched the generator take over and attempted to start up the machine. After 4 or 5 attempts, the engine finally fired up and purred to a steady idle. I plugged in a large space heater and flipped on the Main Breaker. The power light shown ready on the space heater and clicked the on button and it powered up. Very little change occurred on the generator. Happy, I turned off the heater and proceeded to check all 110V receptacles. Then I checked the 50 amp plug with my multi processor welder. Fired it up and pulled a TIG bead at 200 amps. The idle changed at first but soon absorbed the draw without pause.
I have not yet tested the generator with gasoline fuel, but the plan was never to use gasoline as a fuel source. I don't want to have to store and revolve the stores of gasoline.
I attest to the aforementioned is exactly how I tested the generator unit with the exception of the 30 amp plug (that will be later next week). It was a bit louder than I would have liked but I am very happy with this purchase and plan to purchase a second one in March of 2021 if available.

Great generator for the price. I would recommend Westinghouse generators to anyone in need. This unit powers my entire house without hesitation. We lost power the same day our generator arrived so it was a perfect time to test it out.

We were experiencing lots of power issues in our area as the bugs had got into the Ash trees here and when they tress would fall they were taking down the power line causing power outages. Every other day our power was going out. Our old generator we had took a dump so we had to purchase a new one. Found the Westinghouse WGEN9500DF and read the people's reviews and found all positive reviews and decided to give it a whirl. We love that we can hook it up to Propane. Doesn't gunk up the carburetor! It burns clean and it's not as loud as our last one! We love it and definitely recommend it.
