Avoid or buy carburators or use only propane

It looks great for the first couple of months when you start it for 15 minutes/month but the day you really need it, like a year later, it won't start unless you use propane... or if by any chance it starts up once, it runs less than 5 seconds up and down like if the gas was bad and it shuts off. Then you search the web for answers and you find on forums that the carburator is a piece of crap on those units and need to be replaced in less than a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Set up was easy; decent sized. Instructions were thorough, came with all of the essentials, oil, generator is pretty much self explanatory.

Bought for outages of power due to storms, Wheels and feet were installed easily. installed oil and gas and generator started easily. Very pleased with the unit.
