Exceptional Generator

Right out of the box this generator started right up and began doing what it was designed to do! Attach the wheels, add oil, gas source, and it starts working. Best generator on the market. Exceptional build quality and user Friendly interface makes this generator so easy to use. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

This thing is a beast, I feel well prepared for the next big storm. With 3 different fuel types, I can chose which to use and won’t need to stay in lengthy lines for refills on fuel.

I live in an area powered by an electric coop. Very unreliable grid, so a generator has become a must have. After reading the reviews, I decided on the Westinghouse and very glad I did. Quick start guide could have been a bit more complete (such as indicating you need to open the fuel line) but got it up and running and it powered the whole house without so much as a hiccup. Quieter than the other backup portable unit I bought during the last 3 day power outage. Seems very sturdy- with care, it should last many years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Reliable, User-Friendly, Gas Hog

I've used this generator for about 200 hours now; 90% on gasoline, 10% on propane. I have used it mainly on gasoline because the propane did not work for me at first because I had the wrong propane hose. Make sure you buy a hose with a regulator. The pros are the electric push button start, the remote key fob, the dual fuel capability, and the detachable wheels. Also, it starts reliably every single time with one push of the button. Continually, it provides adequate power for my needs. Rarely am I tripping the breaker. The cons include its weight, lack of an eco mode switch, its loudness, and its poor fuel consumption. It seems to be running at 240v at all times. I wish that it would know to only use 120v to save on fuel consumption. I wish that there was a secure attachment that could be used to lock the generator more easily rather than having to wrap a tow chain around it over and over. I'm going through like 5 gallons of gas in about 6 hours and that's ridiculous for me. All in all, if you need a generator with this much capability and power then by far it would be great for your needs. However, I do not need it for this use so I will be selling this item and buying a smaller, quieter generator.

Great Unit, It's a Workhorse!

Just an overall great unit with many features. Put on the wheels, connect the included battery, add the oil and gas and your off and running. Follow the break in procedures and you will be all set.
