Great Generator for home use

I bought this generator for use on stormy days when the power goes out, living in East Texas this happens a few times per year for up to a day. So having a home generator to supplement is very helpful. great unit start up every time and lasts long when on gasoline.

I purchased this in July for hurricane season in FL. The generator was easy to assemble and operate, started right up using remote start and has lots of features and outputs. Uses gas or propane and has clear operating instructions and instrctuction stickers on the unit frame for ease of use. The only reason I am giving 4 stars rather than 5 because I have not run it under load for an extended period of time and cannot speak to long term use and maintenance but, based on my initial impression, this generator will more than do the job and I am happy with this purchase.

Great features for the relatively low cost

I fnailly upgraded our old, 6500w hand crank generator to this one and I'm astounded at the ease of use and range of features - including the 50A outlet - for a great price. Nothing else even came close

Solid unit for the pricepoint

Bought this unit and got it delivered. Solid & compact unit. Simple & quick assembly with tools provided. Attached bubble level indicators to guide correct placement (purchased separately). Easy to move around with the large wheels and foldable handlebar. Comes with oil and funnel. Runs great. Clear instructions covering assembly, operations and maintenance.

Awesome Generator

I purchased this item to power our home during power outages. This generator is an awesome tool and a must have, if you experience outages, or just need a great source for portable power. I currently have it wired to my home with an inlet box and an interlock kit. I installed it all myself. I also purchased and installed a soft start switch on my A/C unit. Now, my wife and I are totally ready for any power outages. We can be comfortable in our home without any worries. I also hand built a custom shed for my generators. The remote start on this Westinghouse is a huge plus. My wife can get everything powered up in less than 5 minutes

Nice and strong generator

I just received generator yesterday. I unpacked it and connected to home interlock switch. Seems well made and it was able to take the load of all appliances. Will continue to observe its performance in coming days.

Great features

Bought this generator a couple weeks ago due to occasional outages in the area winter or summer. It was easy to set up. Just install the wheels and feet. They even give you the oil to put in the engine. Plug in the battery and ready to go. The manual is easy to read and understand. There is a 5 hour engine break-in time stated in the manual which is good to know before using it. The machine is not overly loud. Probably what you would expect. Two different fuel types and three ways to start it. How great is that! Remote start works as intended. The control panel is easy to use and has an information readout for run time, frequency and trouble codes. There is plenty of power to run the house. I'm kinda hoping to not need it but if I do we will be all set and we'll taken care of. Thank you Westinghouse for such a great affordable whole house generator!
