Easy Peasy

After suffering without electricity in Houston after the May derecho and again in July following Beryl, I decided to invest in a generator. As a 71 year old woman, I knew nothing about generators. After speaking with my master electrician and finding out what I needed to power my home's central air and refrigerator plus a TV, I set to work finding the best product in my price range and the Westinghouse brand kept coming up with the best overall reviews so I took the plunge. The WGen9500DFc turned out to be more than I expected. My son-in-law had it set up within 15 minutes and I was able to easily maneuver it to the location I wanted. After following the easy step-by-step set-up instructions, the generator immediately started up and purred like a kitten. It's loud of course, but surprisingly not nearly as loud as my neighbor's! I am absolutely thrilled with this generator and I can honestly and without hesitation heartily recommend it to anyone looking for a generator.

Great generator good capacity

I recently purchased a dual-fuel generator, and I’m really impressed with the flexibility it offers. I love that it has both gasoline and propane options, giving me more control over how I power my home during outages. I opted for a 40 lb propane tank, and it’s been a game-changer. It easily runs all my computer equipment and my 10,000 BTU portable AC unit, which keeps my master bedroom cool and comfortable throughout the night. The peace of mind knowing that I have reliable power with a fuel source that’s cleaner and easier to store is invaluable. This generator has truly enhanced my home’s preparedness, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

I recently purchased this to replace my old one and so far everything is great, delivery was prompt and no damage. Generator seems to be running like it should right out of the box. Hoping for years of use from this generator.

I recently purchased this generator for home backup after losing power from a storm. So far the only thing I’ve done with it is run it for the break in period, but everything worked flawlessly so far. I really like the push button and remote start. It is a little bit loud, but it’s a larger portable generator so I expected that. I don’t want to lose power again but I feel much more prepared having this generator.
