Powerful and easy to use

Just got it so haven't had a chance to use it much, but so far it seems like it will get the job done. No more frozen pool equipment or burst pipes and I won't freeze in my own home ever again! I used a transfer switch to hook it directly to the circuits I need most, so ERCOT, I'm ready for another one of your total failures!

This is a powerful, easy to set up and use generator--great for a quick backup during power outages. On the heavy side, but good wheels and handle.

Has everything I wanted in an emergency generator

I've been wanting this generator for a while and finally made the purchase. I've known several others that have had Westinghouse generators for years and each of them have had nothing but flawless operations from their generators. Looking forward to years of the same with this one!

Great all around generator

Wanted to purchase a generator for several years after power outages from floods and hurricanes in Texas gulf coast region. After the February Texas Freeze fiasco I made up my mind and settled on Westinghouse 9500DF. Dual fuel was a must have and the keyless remote sweetened the purchase even more. Shipment arrived on time and in perfect condition. It took about 30 minutes to unbox, install parts, and add oil and gas. It started on first try using the remote. I let it run for 15 minutes. A couple of days later I started it again, it started right up without hesitation. Will have to wait for another real power outage to give it the real test and see how it does under stress!

Started right up out of the box using propane

Easy to assemble. Is very heavy. Started right up using propane. Haven't tried gasoline yet. Appears well made
