Great Brand!

This is my second purchase of a Westinghouse and both have been a great experience. We have a smaller one that we have been using with all the recent tornadoes and power outages. It wasn’t big enough to run the air unit and also had to turn everything else off when running the hot water heater. With this new purchase we will be able to run everything at once. Both are Westinghouse and we haven’t had any issue with them.

Power and versatility in ONE

Overall, I’m very impressed with this Westinghouse generator in terms of both the amount of power it provides, expansion capabilities, quality construction, and versatility of use.
I bought this generator to be primarily used for home power in case of emergency. With up to 12,500 watts of surge power and 9500 watts running power with gas, it can handle pretty much my entire house. I LOVE the dual fuel options, as I usually have plenty of propane I can use as well. Even though the surge and running wattage is a bit lower when using propane, I still have plenty of juice to power the necessary items when the grid goes down.
Esthetically, the generator is very handsome, with neat lines and logical functionality. I will be using the 30 amp/240 volt plug with a house transfer switch for now, but having a 50 amp/240 volt plug allows me to upgrade in the future.
Before I bought this generator, I did quite a bit of research. This generator, the Wes9500DFc is by far the best for the money.
I would highly recommend this generator if you’re looking for one of the best that combines awesome looks with high performance. POWER…VERSATILITY…QUALTY…you get it plus more with this Westinghouse 9500 DFc generator.

i am a little unsatisfied, as of right now the generator seems to be fine but i did just get it, i can right a more honest review in a couple of years which is why i purchased it in the first place, i purchased it because it has 21,000 5 star reviews and now i see why, they offer you a cover for a review so i can't trust all these reviews as honest reviews /?/?

Very Happy as a First Time Generator Owner!

I purchased this generator with the goal of powering our home during power outages. The generator included everything needed and installing the legs and wheels was easy. I fired it up for the first time last week and it started on the first attempt. Switching from gas to propane was also easy with no issues encountered. I've now had work done at home by an electrician for hookup to our house, and I tested this and it powered our entire home, including AC unit, no problem! Very happy with the decision to get this generator.

This machine is well built. They have made it so easy with the connections, all have been so simplified. All the electrical connectors are properly covered and protected. The main feature I love is the protected box by the exhaust to prevent burns. This is one of a great feature, compared to others. I am very happy with my duel fuel. Especially here in Florida.

and well pumps. The multi fuel is a real benefit. of this unit. It's the best price online, a true value for your buck with today's rising economy.
