Great Generator

This generator has lots of features that make it mich better than most others. The eco feature saves fuel and lowers noise, remote startup, duel fuel. It also has a battery tender so it will work when I need it. It arrived by truck with everything I needed in the box. They even include a spark plug wrench and a funnel to put the included oil in! All metal construction and up to 50 amp output. I am not disappointed at all.

I bought this to replace my 4 month old generator from another top brand that could not produce power. I am very impressed with the features and how far the remote start works

Steady Power

We live off grid and upgraded to the 9500dfc generator to charge our batteries when there isn't any sun. With 8 lithium batteries this generator easily charges our batteries from 20% to 100% within 2.5 hours, while running the house. Generator rarely bogs down. Good product. Should've bought this years ago.

Extremely Disappointing

I live on an island on the coast of Maine with the incumbent power failures, and purchased the Westinghouse 9500 DF about six months ago (99 hours of use) to replace my PowerStroke 6000 which is eight years old, still runs great, but wasn’t quite powerful enough to carry my whole house electrical system, and was getting older. This Westinghouse has been nothing but a disappointment. It constantly ”revs”, blinking the house lights when it has very little load. It shuts off on its own whim, sometimes starts and sometimes doesn’t. I’ve had all types of problems, both on traditional gas and using propane with it.(dual fuel) It seems to have no more power than my older 6000, despite claims that it’s much more powerful. In general, I use my much older smaller generator as my primary and only use this Westinghouse as a back up because I can never tell if it’s gonna run correctly. I’ve learned my lesson on buying this manufactures products. It won’t happen again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
