Great generator

I have used it twice, first time just to try it out. Second time when power was off briefly it did great. Not looking for the power to be off again, but looking forward to using generator next time it is off. Very happy.

We are very excited about this investment because historically we have several power outages each year. We've owned a smaller generator for many years and it's been a lifesaver in keeping the refrigerator/freezer going. But due to its size, it can only power so much. We've been considering a "whole house" model for some time and after seeing the positive reviews and that it was on sale, we pulled the trigger. Set up was straightforward and quick. And we don't know how to act with all these features...having the push button start and gauges are a game changer. The unit itself is compact, sturdy and each option is clearly labeled. It is HEAVY, but the handle and wheels make it so easy to move around. We haven't used it yet, but it's ready to go when needed. We are confident in this generator with the Westinghouse name behind it.

Well manufactured with great extra features!

The WGen9500DF appears very well manufactured with a lot of thought going into the features it offers, such as remote start, dual fuel operation, automatic choke, and included battery trickle charger. The motor started immediately on propane and produces plenty of power for my whole home. (I turn off my electric water heater to avoid the possibility of an overload situation).

Awesome Home Backup Generator

I just received this generator. I’ve owned a few different brands over the last 25 years. This one is the best yet. Starts effortlessly. Runs quiet for such a large generator. I’m really impressed.

Works great for my whole house back up needs

I purchased the dual fuel Westinghouse 9500DF about a month ago. One of the features which prompted me to purchase this item was the ability to supply power from the onboard 50amp and 30amp sockets at the same time. My home has two electrical panels so this allows me to power my home in the event of power outages. I use a 30 and 50 amp Reliance sockets connected to the correct breakers in my electrical panels, and two interlock kits to prevent back feed to the grid in the event of an outage . Another great feature is the ability to use propane. I have two tanks with a change over switch which ensures I dont loose the ability to supply power to my house when one tank empties.

Great for Food Trucks

Easy to use for my daughter who bought for mobile coffee business. Easy to start automatically and has the capacity to power all equipment without having to unplug high wattage items. And dual fuel is awesome feature.

We purchased this a month ago for the random power outages in southern Texas. This portable generator will run what we need for power outages. We have not needed to use it yet but hope it will do the job when needed and last us awhile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Generator!

Purchased to use as a backup home generator. It works exceptionally well. The dual fuel capability provides excellent capability for any longer term outages. It was very easy to get up and running and provides plenty of power. The User Manual is very detailed, and at the same time, very easy to understand. I would recommend highly recommend this generator.
