I just bought this as a home back up. I believe this will be a great product and do just as I hope it will in the event of a power outage. Easy setup and easy to move around.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just purchased the WGen9500DF duel fuel geni.
Set-up was a breeze. Uber clear instructions and all necessary parts were included & nicely packaged.
Started up immediately and runs relatively quietly.
Will be testing it out via a mock power outage this weekend!

Worked Great

The unit arrived in great condition with no damage. Assembled it using instructions with no problems. Added the supplied oil. Added gas and it started right up using the key fob. Tried the panel start button as well as the pull cord. All worked.
Attached multiple power tools to the outlets and everything worked fine. No problem with the load. Have not tried the 220v output yet as I have no tools that use it. I did measure the 220v output and it was alive.
I attached a propane cylinder to it and it started right up with that.
Everything appears to work fine, just as advertised.
Good product!

I picked up my Westinghouse WGen 12500/9500 yesterday from Family Farm And Home. After unboxing, it was very simple to put together. After adding oil and midgrade gas, turned fuel shutoff to open, pushed the start button and it started immediately. Ran it for 5 hours, then changed the oil as recommended by Westinghouse. Now I'm waiting for the power to go out. I know quite a few people that have this same generator and us it for home backup and love it. It will run their whole home with no problem.

Easy to hook up and start!

Easy to setup for a first time user. Bought this in early winter and didn’t need it till today. It was easy to start up and powered the entire house (~1400 sq feet). It gave me such peace of mind to know the sump pump would keep working and the food wouldn’t go bad in the fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!
