Looks Great. Will Not Start?

I purchased this generator a month ago. Assembled it, put oil in, put gas in and charged the battery. But, the unit will not start. I’ve tried the electric start and manual start to no avail. I even took my unit’s battery overt to Auto Zone to test that it’s holding a charge and it seem fine. I’ll keep working with Westinghouse to resolve the issue but hurricane season is here and I need this to work!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy Setup

Just got out of the box. Setup is minimal and easy with adding the wheels and legs. Plan is to run just via propane - cleaner and should last longer.

As for the preparing of Hurricane season-2023, I purchased WGen9500DF months ago for a backup of electricity in case of the regulation power off. We did the test use, it is lower noise than what I had. we are very happy to have it.

When Working

When this generator works it is a 5. However, I use it for power outages only and it has only worked once when needed. By just sitting outdoors, with the "Westinghouse" cover, it becomes unusable. The first time I needed it, it was totally dead. Turned out to be a bad control panel [covered under warranty]. It had only been started once, when I received it. After it was repaired, it ran one time in an "as needed event", ran very well, which is why I rate it as a 5 "when working". But needed it recently and once again it is dead [battery @13v]. In the shop again under extended warranty. Generator is not much good if it doesn't work when needed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
